Are you trying to figure out how to choose the right business school for you?
Sheldon Drookeran, Assistant Director of Recruiting and Admissions at Rotman School of Management, has some tips to get you started.
Choosing the right business school is no different than choosing the right partner. They are both long-term commitments and they work if both parties match. So how do you find the right match?
FIRST Determine your personal strategy, that means assess where you are now, visualize where you want to be in the future, and map out how you can get there and an MBA should be part of that plan.
NEXT list your values. Think about what's important to you in MBA experience. Is it the network, the education, or international exposure?
THIRD Research business schools based on two things, your values and whether or not that school has the resources to help you succeed in your goals. The way to do that research is first online, but more effectively, I recommend speaking to alumni faculty, staff, students, and admissions professionals to engage. The best way to do that is by visiting the school. I hope you find your match.
